In Savage's litmus test would Mary Cheney and Heather Poe be guilty of child abuse?
"married gay couples' raising of children amounts to "child abuse." - Michael Savage
One would have to reason that if a couple gay or lesbian were not married but raising children together, in Michael's world that would not be child abuse. Because according to what he said "married" is an important factor. So all the gay and lesiban couples raising children but not living in a state where gay marriage is legal, you can breath a sigh of relief, Michael Savage does not feel that you've committed child abuse.
But let's, for the sake of argument, define Savage's use of "married" to mean "committed couple" well then doesn't Mary Cheney and Heather Poe fall into Savage's disgust, contempt and (soon to be) definition of child abusers? Does Mary have anything to say, especially in defense of Melissa Etheridge, about whom those vile comments were made?
Or does Mary Cheney stay quiet, claiming the political spotlight when is suits her and telling others to go f themselves when they then discuss her because she opened the door. She stays quiet of course, being the hushed "inconvenient truth" for her party.
Pam's House Blend talks about it but there has been little else.
Why doesn't Michael Savage go after Mary like he goes after liberals/progressive? He does fancy himself a tin plated dictator who is thinking about running for office. . . will she have anything to say then?

Snippet from Yesterday
But here is an impression of yesterday:
"But the image of him falling is something I’ll never be able to get out of my mind. I fired, and there’s Harry falling. And it was, I’d have to say, one of the worst days of my life, at that moment." - VP Dick Cheney on shooting an acquaintant in his hunting party, Whittington - appearing on FoxNews with Brit Hume 2/15/05
I have not been able to get this statement out of my mind.
Since I heard it I wonder and have wondered how many US Service men and women who have been sent to an illegal and useless war, who've watched friends, enemies and the innocent die, can say this and feel this way. Given that my exhusband is a Veitnam Veteran and that during the 1980's I became very good at spotting other Vietnam Veterans (something in their eyes), I say very many, most, if not all, have felt or feel this way.
One thing is for sure, Cheney will get top notch PTSD counceling, both public and private, if he feels the need. Our service people who've had to deal with more death, more images of people going down will be lucky to get half that.

Cheney and Halliburton stock
Could this mean that this behemoth and beneficiary in millions of no bid contracts will be dragged into and down with all of this? Will Cheney do a Frist and unload his stock and exercise his options in the next few days/weeks? Could this take down a major financer of the Bush-Cheney regime?
Watching Chris Matthews got me thinking in this direction.
Who might proceed Cheney
Personally, I think Bush will put in a woman. With all that's going on and going down in this White House, one sure way to cement a positive note for himself in history is to get a woman (finally) in the "second chair."
And he will pick someone he knows.
So who might it be?
Condi Rice
Harriet Miers
Karen Hughes
Allison Barber
Had it not beeen for the "Iraq Group" I would have also included Mary Matalin.

What did/will Lou Dobbs do?
Now I may not agree with Lou Dobbs, and often I don't. I do respect him. His credibly is damaged (like many in the media) and he doesn't strike me as someone who takes to kindly to that. Currently his CNN web page says nothing but has a link to his Oct 7 interview with Miller.
Editor and Publisher put it this way:
Now they have stories that say :
NEW YORK CNN's Lou Dobbs was perhaps Judith Miller's biggest TV supporter during her 85 days in jail, and the New York Times reporter recognized this Tuesday, granting him an exclusive interview.
"I'm not willing to work further on this project with Judy Miller. ... I do not trust her work, her judgment, or her conduct. She is an advocate, and her actions threaten the integrity of the enterprise, and of everyone who works with her."But didn't red flags begin to go up when Miller got a call in jail from Cheney September 28 and she was released the next day (September 29, 2005)? It did for me.
She seems to have developed selective amnesia since being relased from prison.
